Lexy, Boss Lady of The L.E.X.Y.
Lexy
is the feared leader of LEXY. The LEXY is one of the most wanted gangs
in the world, always high on every lawman's “Most Wanted” list. What does
LEXY stand for? Not much, I can tell you, so don't upset them!
They are a gang of ruthless ladies who, bored with tapestry and daytime
TV, have turned to crime to relieve the boredom of their daily routine
and Australian soap operas. Willed on to win at all costs by the powerful
drive of Lexy herself, they have been phenomenally successful. We see Lexy
here in typical pose, about to leave the supermarket after doing her week's
shopping. One thing we have to say for her is that she has certainly improved
the service for consumers in supermarkets.
She loves movies and TV, so much so that she has bought all the studios
by making them an offer they didn't dare refuse. You can visit this Media
Mogul (the only one left, in fact) at her house at The Reader's Vine, where
she is known innocently as Lexy
Wodehouse. She has suffered one or two defeats at the hands of her
arch rival, Minnie The Pink (aka minerva), although she often manages to
snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. It is, then, important that she
maintains strong security and stays one step ahead of Miinie The Pink.
Her second picture here shows her cleaning houseflies from her apartment.
She has to move apartments very often, not because Minnie The Pink has
discovered her location, but because it quickly gets wrecked when there
are a lot of houseflies around. Expert at quantum mathematics, nuclear
physics, military strategy, jam-making and how to get a chicken to the
parrot in Starship Titanic, Lexy made her millions on the US Futures Market
where her love of gambling and fierce determination won her the hearts
of many of Wall Street's toughest brokers. And not just their hearts —
she even has a few of their heads mounted on her office wall.
One of the most feared ladies on SST, she is also one of the most loved.
In particular, her sterling efforts to promote late-night conversation
and to help the younger gamers come out of their bunkers is always greatly
appreciated. But treachery is often afoot, and she must stay alert continuously
to the danger of attacks from within her own gang, LEXY, for others covet
that crown she wears so well.
Here
are just a few things that people have said of her:
Prince William: “WOWEE super golly gosh! I wonder if Grandad
will let me keep her for my birthday! She'd look great as my Princess of
Wales. Can she dance, does she like bopping all night long, and can she
make milk shakes? Wait a minute, it doesn't matter — I'm in love with her.”
Minnie The Pink: “Bah! She's not a real threat to anyone, least
of all to me!”
A LEXY Operative: “Oooo you don't mess about with The Boss Lady,
not unless you want to find out what your pension entitlement is. All you
can be sure of is that the presentation concrete boots will be a good fit.”
Alan Greenspan: “I wish I had her skills. I wish I had her talent.
I wish I had her. I wish....., ah, but I'm always speculating.”
Inspector ColoKid: “Nope, I can't see anything wrong here.”
