Introduction

Forum policies divide into three areas:

Operating Policies about the moral tone and policing of the Forum
Technical Stuff about how it all works, or doesn't (as the case may be)
Complaints and who to make them to

Our 'Official' Status

In the immediate aftermath of the death of Douglas Adams on 11 May 2001, The Digital Village (TDV) found itself unable to continue its official SST Forums and related activities. TDV had nominated this site to provide game support by providing a link to it from the Douglas Adams site (where gamers attempting to access the TDV Forums were initially redirected).

There is no business affiliation between this voluntary, fan-run site and TDV, and we do not represent each other in any area of policy or business dealings. We have little idea about what their plans are for new games and Forums. We are very grateful to the people from TDV who have helped us with the content of this site by providing the Mac game patch.
